The Impact of Your Support:

For each of the last six years, the Black & White has been attended by over 200 business and community leaders, government officials and philanthropists that come together to support the changing role of arts and education in our community. At the 2011 Black & White, we exceeded our goal by raising $103,000! In 2012, we are raising the bar even more, and have a goal of raising $125,000!

Arts Central is working diligently to transform our entire arts education program and lay the foundation for an arts education paradigm shift in our community through a whole brain learning initiative.

Your participation in the Black & White allows us to raise awareness and attract new supporters for these mission critical efforts. Additionally, we can increase our support for the regional school systems where thousands of children benefit, including those attending underserved schools. In 2011, we provided art classes to more than 7,000 students. With your help we can reach many more.

Our on-going work includes professional teacher training, development of sequential learning curriculums, embracing arts integration, and establishing collaborative partnerships with business, government, and organizational leaders in support of creative learning and whole brain development for our region’s children.
