VolunteerOnce again, the Art Station is offering volunteers an opportunity to become involved in their community as a volunteer Art Camp Counselor in our summer art camps.
We are looking for people at least 13 years old who are responsible self-starters with leadership qualities, enjoy working with children, and love art!
Volunteers can sign up for at least one week-long camp which includes a four-hour shift per day. Camp counselors will be responsible for assisting children with projects, helping the instructor with class set-up and take-down and monitoring children during break-time. By being a role model, you will help to encourage and develop children’s skills in the classroom setting, while gleening some art techniques yourself!
Each volunteer will receive a certificate and letter of completion for the hours volunteered, which can be used for employment references, college transcripts, etc.
